Email required Address never made public. Thanks in advance. I am sure I can find quite a few examples if I look hard enough. Apparently, this book generated a debate before i bought it about being so HG despite having a dust shadow.
I saw at least a few people saying the Suscha books got gift grades and using this particular book as an example. I can see it bothering some people but i have no problem with it or the grade. Now how about a lite thumbprint? I can see that taking a bigger hit.

What do you guys think or know about this? The book is also a 9. I've seen them too. I just don't buy 'em. That is not what I wanted to hear, but it is what it is.
I was so hoping a thumbprint would be treated the same as a dustshadow I had an early Golden Age Marvel Comics that was an easy 9. Now I am thinking I should have re-submitted after seeing some of those books!
About this item
I have seen several other examples of books hammered 1 to 2 full grades due to the dust shadow or light tanning on the cover edge even though page quality was decent. I though I understood CGC was just overly harsh on this defect, but now I don't know what to believe or expect when it comes to CGC grading books like these?
Can't most thumb prints be carefully wiped off?
Probably not if the offender was eating greasy chicken at the time of course. You need to be a member in order to leave a comment.
