I just started this with my blog and I wanted to let you know that I talked about this wonderful blog and the 52 weeks project. Hi… I just found your blog and love it! Any suggestions? Look forward to working together to make some much needed changes for me. Was able to download the nice 52 weeks of Organizing list.

How To Declutter: 12 Ways To Conquer Clutter in Your Home

It is overwhelming to say the least. It is never to late to get started with some thing like this 52 weeks of getting organized. I am so down with it, that I blogged about my commitment. I am making my list. Have a something to brag about on Friday.

Here is the plan for the month…

Looking forward to cleaning out the clutter. Thanks for the inspirations and wonderful hints on getting it done. Hi Laura!

Just accidentally found your blog and it is awesome! I love the idea of a 52 week plan! Check it out! This week I tackled the fridge…inside and out. I got two small, magnetic dry erase boards with a magnetic marker and put it on the front of the fridge. On the inside of the fridge I went through and tossed all expired items. Then I gave everything a good cleaning.

I got some small plastic bins to store meats, cheeses, fruits, veggies. Our fridge just has one giant drawer on the bottom instead of a few smaller ones. Well…we no longer have that problem…the bins are working out well. They are actually plastic shoe boxes for storage, but three of them fit well in that drawer and others can fit on the shelves above. Hi I am new to this following things online like this. I am not even sure how to find it again once I close out that is why I am hoping that giving my email address will help and you could contact me.

My husband and I just bought our first house and we are working on organizing it. What better time to organize, right? So heres the deal. We have 4 kids ages 10 and 8 year old boys and ages 2 years and 3 months old girls. We have done quite a bit in the last week as far as organizing goes but I am looking for a good place that I can take ideas from others and put them into play for my own family.

ClutterBug/Hug Your Home 12 Week Challenge

Let me know if this is the place I can do this. Thanks, Crystal. Wow Laura. Your site is just what I need. And I so love yard sales…:-]. Then to organizing. And neat and organized! Fantastic, Mary! I each of the ten weeks of this challenge; I share ideas for organizing spaces as well as my own journey in organizing that specific space in our home. You can check out this main page and follow along with the posts under each room for ideas of how to purge and re-organize that space!

But an initial purge is always a good place to start. This is perfect. And so is everything else about your home. I need to use this as a guide. Note to William Morris: I have a few useful things in my house, but oh, so many beautiful things. I enjoy your website. I am thrilled that you posted this. I took part in a similar blog about organizing financially in with Mary Hunt. I stuck to the plan and it helped immensely. I recently divorced and downsized half the house I had. My ex left everything for me to take care of from our 22 year marriage and 2 kids.

Do you have any suggestions for those of us maybe in this situation that are still trying to unbox and unpack at the same time? I do feel overwhelmed and when I think I have it all together, I find another box. I have to give myself deadlines- if not I tend to procrastinate Thank you, Carrie. I hate you for posting this… I cannot unsee it now and I absolutely have to participate. I hear ya!

If you want to be added to the email list you can do so at the bottom of the post or I can also add you in manually. I already have a start on some of these rooms. Do you have ideas on how to organize board games? Hi Martha! It definitely makes sense to switch up the order and make it work for you! Do you have any shelving near your board games? We have a bunch of board games in our basement — I shared a room makeover on that last Spring and will be tackling the organization of it again as part of this challenge — but for the most part the board games have stayed organized on our shelving.

You can see that post here. I am ready to join, I have been looking for a good plan to get things organized this works for me. I will start next week on my days off. I am ready to be free of worries.
